I spent many years feeling as though I wasn't worthy to even be alive. My weight gain drove my self esteem to rock bottom and I couldn't find my way out. My story began after my son was born. I delivered him at 216.5lbs with a 9lb baby, yet left the hospital at 215lbs!?! I was very depressed. I was always a petite , 115lbs on my 5'2 stature. I gained 100lbs with pregnancy and never lost it. I began my journey 9/17/2003. I have never looked back. I was a slow loser and didn't hit goal of 125lbs until 12/20/2008. I never gave up. It was my life's goal to feel good about myself. I believe that God put that journey in my life so that I could help others. It is my life's passion to help someone who may have felt like I did.

After hitting my goal I became a Coach, Personal Trainer, and founder of Phit Girlz.. I also teach Urban Striptease, Hip Hop Hustle, Turbo Kick, and PiYo fitness classes.

I was fortunate enough to be featured on the Biggest Loser web site in 2008, in Women's First magazine November 2009 , on the turbokick.com website under Chalene's Friends, and have had several sessions with blogtalk radio star BuffBlogger. My proudest moment was a full page article and photoshoot sponsored by Shape magazine in July 2009.
