Ladies, there are so many fad diets out there from low carb, low fat to drastically reducing calories and eating junk. Let me fill you in on a few tips that will allow you to get the results you are truly looking for.

I don't like to use the word diet. A diet is something done for a short period of time and usually can not be sustained as a lifestyle. Instead I like to simply incorporate a healthy well balance nutrition plan.

Tip 1: Eat breakfast! Your body has been in a state of starvation over night. Your metabolism needs a kick start which a well balanced breakfast will accomplish.

Tip 2: What does well balanced mean? Each meal of the day should consist of a lean protein, healthy fat and carb.
Lean Protein: Chicken, Fish, Lean Beef, Protein Powder, etc.
Healthy Fats: Flax seed, nuts, natural peanut or almond butter, avacado
Carbs: Oats, sweet potato, brown rice and all vegetables.

Tip 3: After breakfast you need to feed your body every 2.5-3.5 hours to keep your blood sugar stabilized.

Tip 4: Learn portion sizes. Protein and carbs should be approximately the size of your fist. Fats should be limited in each meal and starchy carbs need to be eliminated before bedtime.

Tip 5: Drink plenty of water, I recommend 1-1.5 gallons per day.

Tip 6: Sleep, your body needs plenty of sleep to recover from tough workouts and to simply refresh yourself.

Incorporate these tips into your nutritional plan and you will see the results you are looking for. If you need further advice contact me directly for services at kalene.marie@yahoo.com.
